Dream before Falling - Poem

I had goals of my own,
Goals that ended with me on the throne.
But you dragged me down
And thrown me around.
Stripped me of pride,
Ransacked my mind.

And you expect me to love.

You let me dream,
But I’m turn at the seam
And you let me fall.
Didn’t try to catch me at all.
Instead you just laughed,
Just made me feel daft.

And you expect me to love

Can you feel the pain?
Can you be any more vain?
Give me back my life,
And stop looking for your knife!
You know it’s in my back,
So cut me some slack

But the problem is,
Aside from broken promises.
I can’t help but love.
There’s no halo above.
And that doesn’t matter you see,
You mean everything to me…

Swan Song - Poem

My last breath
To sudden death
A short life
Under a knife
My knees in pain
Love in my vein.
only one vein
All over again.
